Captain 2025

c
Hello to my Fellow Clontibret Golfers,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Declan Mc Namee for asking me to Captain the
Clontibret Golf Society for 2025 and to thank him for his hard work in 2024, I’m sure everyone
would agree with me that he done a fantastic job, picked some terrific courses and we got some
brilliant weather, a very successful year and I’ll do my best to follow his good work in 2025.
It’s a great honour for me to be asked to fulfil the role of Captain for 2025. I have played in many of
the outings going over the years, and must say that I have enjoyed each and every one of the many
courses we have played. I hope the courses I have picked will suit all of our members and friends.
Until I started to take on the role of Captain, I did not know of all the work that goes on in the
background by many people who go unrecognised for their hard work. I would like to thank each
and everyone of ye. Without these people we would not have such a good society.
I would like to take this opportunity to say that if ye know of any person young or old who is
interested in playing golf let them know that all new members would be welcome to join.
Le meas,
Pat
